It's much warmer today but a few more inches of snow. I took a few more photos of the Lappie just after lunch.

Cracking Birds,not seen any locally ( South Penines ) for years,nice pics ,regards Bri
Thanks. I only see them when it snows and we hardly got any last year. The current snow won’t last long as it’s going to warm up and lots of rain forecast. I used to often see Shore Larks at Holkham in Norfolk and the occasional Lapland along the coast.
I ventured out this morning and took a few more as I might not see them for another year.
