Hi Shrek. You can only delete a post within 24 hours, after that you need to contact a moderator to do it for you.Sometimes we are reluctant to do so, as it depends on whether there have been replies to it, which would make a nonsense of the thread.
However, if you mean deleting a thread (the first post in the thread) you cannot do it and it always has to be done by a moderator and this will again depend on whether a thread has been replied to.
It sometimes pays to think carefully before posting
Hi Shrek. Was it the lens you had for sale? If withdrawn or sold you can just add a post to that effect. Usually a mod will come along and change the thread title.

awesome thanks, yes it was the lens, no takers, which is a bit sad as I thought it was a good oprice, but it is leaving today for LCE ! New 500mmpf on its way to me ;-) ;-)
