Hi all

I'm originally from Whalley in England. Have lived in Japan for about 10 years. Started birding last year after many years of hiking and wondering what it was calling down from the trees. 7 months on and I have two pairs of bins, a nice scope, a digiscope setup, about 20 birding books, go birding 2-4 times a week and have taken two long birding trips. I imagine that 's only the start of it!

Birdforum is a great community.
Nice to be part of it.

Hello Chris,
And another welcome to the Birdforum. As Gillian said, looks like you've got the birding bug. Looking forward to hearing about some of the birds you're seeing in that part of the world.
