Found this today and cannot find a match. Any Suggestions?

The tallest is about 10cm; colour is more tan than grey; in damp, shaded ground that is the uncut margin of a path round a pond. Bushes, purple loosestrife and orchids also growing.

Location is Irvine in Central Scotland.

Thanks

It's a type of puffball, although I'm not sure which one. The length of the stipe might suggest Pestle Puffballs.

Regards,
James

Thanks James, had a look at the descriptions online and it certainly makes sense. Whatever it is, it is pretty!
