Fuji Finepix 601 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

There was a bit of interest in my Fuji Finepix 601 camera in other threads, particularly its suitability for taking close-ups of Butterflies etc.

The attached photo of a 2p coin (found it easier to stalk a 2p than a butterfly) was taken using the macro setting at a distance of 25cm or so.

As I mentioned previously, we find the camera is OK for general purpose use, but whether its optical quality is up to the type of usage is a metter of personal opinion.

Haven't had a great deal of joy using this camera with my Opticron ES80 scope and HDF20-60 zoom, but I've only just got the scope and hope to improve with practice.
