Flycatcher - Amazon Rainforest (1 Viewer)

I saw this Flycatcher in the Amazon rainforest on 12th May 2018 that even had all the guides stumped. We were staying at Sacha Lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon on the Napo River and it was flitting in the tree canopy in the terra firma forest. I know there are loads of flycatchers and many look very similar but if anyone is able to identify this one, I'd be very happy.

Cheers
Jonno

Would suggest a Wood-pewee, though hard to tell if it's Western or Eastern. I guess that's a fairly late date for one to still be in Ecuador, but maybe not impossible.

Best guess would be western based on: all dark bill, very dark upps, some indication of dark centres to undertail coverts, only one obviously visible wing bar (although this is very bright: expect them to be muted in Western). Having said this, character overlaps mean the general view is they can only be reliably distinguished by voice
