Before I start this thread, does anyone know if its being done already?

I can't find anything for the whole of Cornwall so sounds like a good one to start. But it's a big area, are you sure you can cover it all?

Chris,

Well it's still in the Bay, but it gets anywhere from Long Rock at Marazion to Sandy Cove in Newlyn - about 5 miles. It may be best to scan from Jubilee Pool in Penzance west towards Newlyn, that's where most sightings have been, and where most of the birders are. Beware though that there are a lot of Divers in the bay at the moment.

Thanks for your input guys. Just had a chance to draw breath! What a great week in the county. Saturday was like October down here! Fantastic weather and superb birding. Everyone behaved superbly! Lots of positive feedback from locals and local police. Co-op did a booming trade when the WB Diver was in the Creek. There seems to be lots of talk about the health of the diver and why it isnt flying!?!? Have these people never heard of moult? And as for its health, I've never seen a diver feed so well!! Can't wait for Spring if this is winter!!
