Central Peru trip April 28-May 7 (1 Viewer)

Just back from Peru, great trip! Missed a couple mornings of birding due to mechanical problems and logistics but still had >315 species for the all montane trip. Highlights: Black-spectacled Brush Finch, Eye-ringed Thistletail, Chestnut Antpitta (great views), Junin Grebe, Rufous-browed Hemispingus, Fiery-throated Metaltail, Coppery Metaltail, Bay-vented Cotinga, Yellow-scarfed Tanager, Golden-backed Mountain Tanager, Pardusco, White-bellied Cinclodes, White-winged Duica Finch, and Diademed Sandpiper-Plover!........
and pelagic w/4 albatross sp, 5 storm-petrel sp., both Chilean and South Polar Skuas, Peruvian Diving Petrel, Peruvian Tern.
