Can you walk completely around Llangorse Lake...? (1 Viewer)

Morning all

Just wondering if it is possible to walk right around Llangorse Lake...? I appreciate that's some trek, but is there a way to do this? Alternatively, is there a nice long walk that could be done one-way with two car drop offs? We are possibly off there later today (as the sun is shining) with the dogs (4 of 'em) and 5 people so will be taking two cars.

What's the best part of the lake to walk please?

Not sure John. The walk I normally take is this.Park in the layby at SO141225,then walk up the Roman Road and up over the hill (Allt Yr Esgair) until you come to Pennorth SO114260.Make your way on the road to Ty Gwyn Farm SO113263 and carry on down the public footpath through the farmyard and onto the Lake.Take a right along the footpath at SO119267 which will take you to the Llangasty hide at SO126261.Carry on to the Llangasty Church car park (very photogenic building!) where your companions will have left their car, hopefully!
This is a great walk and will keep you busy with the camera on both birds and landscapes for a good few hours if you decide to do it.Have a great afternoon!
