Birds of Warwickshire (2 Viewers)

At Ladywalk today there was an immature Grey Heron fishing,would this be one of this years chicks from Middleton or is it too soon ?

There is a Heronry much closer to Ladywalk and if so would probably be from here, Heron's nest early details of Heronry on Middleton lakes blog. Regards, John
 
17/4/12 Caldecote Male Redstart seen around riding school horse paddocks Paul Lathbury seen later by myself, also a Male Yellow Wagtail in paddocks and a Whitethroat singing in scrub by the river.

18/4/12 Caldecote Male Redstart in horse paddocks also a male Yellow Wagtail, Whitethroat singing from the river bridge scrub. Male Wheatear in flood meadows by the Stone Bridge, 2 reported earler.
