Beetle question (1 Viewer)

Mila

Well-known member
This beetle was photographed under a microscope. It is in Burmese amber, which means it is 100,000 years old.
As you see, it front legs look kind of strange as well as it had.

Do you believe it could be some parasitic algae that was living on it?
Thanks!

i took one more image, and it appears that there is an egg on the beetle left front legs and maybe even a white larvae next to it
