another 'micro' Wild Flower, cambs UK. Help Please! (1 Viewer)

This little flower has me at a complete dead end although I bet I've missed the obvious!
The nearest I can come up with is Fairy Flax, but, having never seen one before I really haven't a clue.
Growing with sandworts, cranesbill's, wild pansies, scarlet pimpernels, mouse-ears, and other 'rough ground' 'weeds'.
Plant 20cm tall, leaves lanceolate, in pairs. Distinctive feature was that each flower stem 'drooped' as in the photo. Flower 5mm (but could be stunted due to poor ground)
Any ideas and pointers greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Super job John! Thanks. Another 'lifer' for my cambs list.
These pesky wild flowers never play fair and look exactly as the text book illustrations!
