2cy Yellow-legged Gull ? UK, South coast today (1 Viewer)

Hello,
interesting bird for me. Tfs!
I must admit, I would ID the bird as a 2cy YLG in a quick jizz-style, when I saw it in SW-Germany.

But a closer examination of the pictures reveals uniform and dark chokolade-brown greater coverts. Yes, this might well be within variation for a YLG, but I hope for Lou, smiths and Steve and others to jump in.

It might well be an immature LBBG by good pattern of the greater coverts for this species
