    Another fruitless search for the night heron at Sankeys pool Lower Penn. I gather theres still no info on the only sighting on Tuesday. Spoke to a fisherman on Tuesday evening who said he had it flying south? but I doubt he saw the same bird.

    waxwing 51 waxwing still nr junction Pendiford Ave & Cheam Grds, wolverhampton, old staffs. at 12 noonish. taking very little notice of the 2 angry mistle thrush. gwr

    Hi Ian, Thats prob the best way but the path along the res is pretty muddy. The GND is at the deep end so I walked back via the Mopps Farm bridge then along canal towpath. gwr

    Great Northern Diver imm Great Northern Diver s/v/well on the small Pool Hall fishing pool till at least 2:00 pm. Nice to have some news from this part of staffs. gwr

    You don't have to be high to vis mig. A good site in wolves is only 10min from you Ian just west of Castlecroft on the foot bridge over S&W canal off the track which leads to Pool Hall off Castlecroft Rd/Radford Lane.The Smestow Valley opens out there giving views of birds funneled down the...
