She doesn’t need two pairs of binoculars, does she. 🤪🙏

Will you be selling the Swaro and Leica? Paul

No argument there. And if you want to take it a step further, try the Swarovski spotter with bino attachments, amazing.

I’ve added another dimension to my observing gear setup. I’ve been using high quality vintage wide field 7x35 binoculars with over 10°FOV as my scanning optic , with well over 500ft at a 1000yds, nothing compares on the current market. Then I use my IS binoculars which are my Swarovski 12x50EL...

I don’t know how old you are but I’m in my mid 60s and I can tell the qualitative difference the minute I put these two binoculars up to my eyes. Are you able to see the image shift and focus delay when panning following an object with Canon IS?

Unbelievable, your not married are you 🤪.. You don’t really want to have a rational stimulating conversation about binoculars do you? You just really wanna debate people, I’m pretty sure there’s a name for that. Good luck in your retirement, hopefully you find some things that occupy your...

No doubt the ergonomics are horrendous. I generally didn't like it the minute I picked it up. When your use to conventional roof bins, that fit the hand like a glove the L is hard to like. But they balance very well and if you can get passed the lousy hand fit and plastic feel, they really grow...

I think many of us here don’t think it’s squandering to buy high-quality optical instruments. And the only thing you really need to do is to stop putting words in other peoples mouths. And the discussion will probably end when people like you stop going around in circles. We all know what...

I make speculations? Really? Go look at almost every one of your Previous posts. There’s nobody in this discussion that has speculation and assumptions as much as you , and you even put numbers to it. Now you’re telling me what I believe, I made no indication in any of my posts that premiums...

I would assume the margins are about the same for the price point. I don’t believe there is magnesium in the construction, more likely than not that would be listed in specs, I’m sure if someone knows it will be posted. I believe it’s mostly plastic with a metal upper casing. With the L IS it...

I like the person who drives the Ferrari because then I know I'm selling them a more expensive house and the commission is larger (=more toys or as wifey says retirement money). If the woman driving it is naked, all the better:ROFLMAO:. Just funnin a little. Paul

Weight, ergonomics, possible issues after or before ten years, thus making them more expensive than premium non IS, if needing repairs or replacement in that time frame. And at $1500 for the L’s your very close to premium options. No changes to the L has been made since 2014 , according to...

The Fujis are 3 pounds and make noise when using the IS. The Bresslers look like a whole other animal.

I seen this a while back but couldn’t find anybody selling them. Dose anybody know if these ever come to the market. These are very interesting because of weight. And of course the glass, there’s very little in the description from Brussels concerning optics. Thx Paul

I agree whole heartily , it’s different if we’re spending $300 or $400 then it’s not a great loss after a few years of use. But at $1500 , and you have to worry if it’s going to be the same tool in five years is something to consider. Optically there going to help you pick things out more...

Hi Herman, I think he mentioned monopod, but same thing. I have them both, but don't use them much. I do use a light stable tripod occasionally with my 12x50 EL's. For me the monopod isn't a solution because it produces other issues. I agree for stationary long session especially when you're...

Thx Kimmo, I like the idea of marking the IPD setting , excellent , thank you. It seems to me there is no room for deviation on getting a good IPD setting on these. They are very finicky in that area. I did take the possibility of sample to sample variation seriously considering how many binos...

Thank you for the compliment. Good to know they can take a few bumps, was very worried about that. Considering the I S properties I was under the impression they would be kind of delicate. I really like the focuser, slow yes but good feel , very smooth, no stiction and dials in nice. We all...

They are double the price. I would like to see those two bins switch position in that test. Angle with a picture could have a more profound effect than what the eye sees.
