    just got back today 18th, just up the road from ten bel tower, theres a family who feed the birds and there feeders are visited by rose-ringed parakeets and monk parrots. we saw 6 or more monk parrots this last week,

    we decided on cabanas, a village just outside tavira, we stayed at the cabanas park hotel, self catering, 2 weeks( 28 april onwards), and it was great,, the weather first week was very changeable cold,very wet at times, not what i expected or hoped for when going abroad, the 2 week very hot...

    The Gambia 25/01/2011 - 2/02/2011

    hi we stayed at the the sennigambia hotel,kololi beach, lots of birds in the grounds, they feed the vultures about 11 oclock every morning, you can get birding trips , birdguides everywhere easy, we found the hotel very good.
