    Which to choose Canon A650 IS or Canon TX1

    Vari-angled LCD camera is needed for my straight Kowa spotting scope. This is use to shot birds where they are nearly above the head. I am interested in the continous speed 2.2 fps and HD movie from TX1 but a bit expensive compare to A650. I also do not know if it is good for digiscoping...

    Need help to ID this PLOVER.

    This is the same bird and juvenile. For my ID at first it is a LESSESR SAND PLOVER. But now not so sure and it could be a GREATER SAND PLOVER. Can any body help to confirm either it is a LESSER or GREATER SAND PLOVER. I advance thank you to you all and very much appreciate your help. TQ.

    Bird categorization.

    Anybody can tell how these birds are categorised now. They are GREY-CAPPED PYGMY WOODPECKER(Dendrocopos canicapillus) and SUNDA PYGMY WOODPECKER(Brown-capped woodpecker)_Picoides moluccensis.

    Bird in the nest.

    Hi there! I saw olive-backed sunbird in the nest with its head popped up. I can go close and even touch the nest if I want but I do not do it. I am only see from a distant of about 20 feet. Can take photograph of it and post it to BF? What is the distance permited? Tq.
