    Beetle question

    This beetle was photographed under a microscope. It is in Burmese amber, which means it is 100,000 years old. As you see, it front legs look kind of strange as well as it had. Do you believe it could be some parasitic algae that was living on it? Thanks!

    Gray whales sparking behavior

    Here is a video, which shows courtship and aggression. In some situations aggression is for a mate, in others for the territory. Also interesting that they have mixed pairs of Western and Clark’s grebes.
