Identification

27cm. Light brown above barred black and streaked whitish. Throat white, foreneck buff streaked black, breast buff and belly whitish. Crown dark brown, sides of head buff. Legs yellow.

Distribution

North-east and central Brazil south-west to eastern Bolivia and Paraguay.

Taxonomy

This species in monotypic.[1]

Habitat

Scrub and open woodland.
