The picture you can see was taken fifteen years ago when the area was lush and green,this was before the great leak! I remember seeing so many differant birds over them withens, from Kingfisher's to Hen-harriers,grasshopper warbler too marsh tit all these birds have now vanished all I see now when I walk with my dog and binoculars is crows, crows and crows. I know who is responsible for this decline in our local area but can not possibly say who the culprits are in case of ??????. I will plod on walking and watching the fields in which I grew up hoping that one day it may return to its old self
