Identification

13–16 cm

Distribution

Endemic to Taiwan.

This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly considered conspecific with Vinaceous Rosefinch.

Habitat

Temperate and dry forests.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of a variety of seed types.
