Distribution

In South America, it's found in SouthEastern Brazil to northeastern Argentina (Misiones) and extreme eastern Paraguay.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Low down in humid montane forests and mature secondary woodland.

Behaviour

Diet

There is no information available about what they eat.

Breeding

There is not much information, but they are known to build a stick nest.
