- Upperparts are brown spotted with white
- Blue-grey breast
- Rufous belly
- Head is white streaked with black
Distribution
Andes of Peru to northern Bolivia, Chile, and northwestern Argentina.[1]
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.[1]
Habitat
High altitude grassland.
