Identification

  • Lacks the white throat and head stripe.

India.

Habitat

Hill forests

Behaviour

They move in groups of 6-10, feeding in open patches.

Breeding

They make their nest in the ground, lined with grass. The clutch consists of 4-7 eggs which is incubated by the female for 16-18 days.
