Ducula pacifica

Identification

Taxonomy

This species has two known subspecies: sejuncta is found on small islands off of New Guinea, while pacifica is found in a number of island groups including Cook Islands, Niue, Tonga, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, and Louisiade islands.

The group of Imperial Pigeons (Ducula sp.) is a large group of larger pigeons.
