Cyornis magnirostris

Identification

Large with a large bill and long wings. Male very similar to male Tickell's Blue Flycatcher but with deeper blue upperparts. Female similar to smaller Blue-throated Flycatcher but with more contrast of head and pale throat.

Distribution

Eastern Nepal to Bhutan, northeast India, Burma and peninsular Thailand.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
Formerly considered conspecific with Hill Blue Flycatcher.
