Identification
21–25 cm
Occurs in two morphs; a dark and chestnut.
Sexes are alike.
Distribution
South-east Asia: found from the Peninsula Thailand to the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo and adacent islands
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Broadleaved evergreen forest.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet is little known, but they would appear to eat insects, beetles and moths.
