Distribution
South America: found in eastern Amazonian Brazil (near headwaters of River Tapajós in south-western Pará).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This species has in the past been placed in genus Pipra.
Habitat
Humid forest at heights around 200 m.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of small fruits and insects.
