Identification

38 cm

  • Dark grey upperparts
  • Pale grey head
  • Wine underparts
  • Chestnut belly

Distribution

Eastern Solomon Islands (Guadalcanal, Malaita and San Cristobal).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Moist montanes and lowland forests.
