Identification

30 cm, body brown, lighter below. Whitish streak behind eye.

Distribution

Eastern Madagascar.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Rainforests.

Status

Classed vulnerable by Birdlife International due to habitat fragmentation.

Behaviour

Diet

Little known about food, mainly invertebrates.

Breeding

Very little information avaiable on breeding, only 2 nests found.
