    Opinions on this Duck?

    Just wanted to get some opinions on this Duck that was seen a couple of days back on the sea in St Aubins Bay in Jersey. In the field the opinion was a possible Greater Scaup maybe juvenile moulting into first winter male plumage.

    Dunlin or White-rumped??

    I hoping someone can help with the ID on these, initially I thought they where Dunlin but looking back it could be white-rumped Sandpiper? this is the only shot I got :( it was taken on Honeymoon island on Florida's gulf coast in October.

    its all time dependent 2slo, I only have 3 mornings to get out and about, and I want to get a few other areas in as well like RSPB saltholme, but if I have time I will try to get to both done

    Thanks for the info Mark I'm going to do a bit of research and have a better look at Muggleswick and I will probably give there ago instead of Low barns. Especially if theres a chance of Redstart and Wood warbler aswell.
