    Little Egret action pictures

    I am more confident about this set of pictures. The bird has black legs and bill, yellow feet and was wading and fishing on the shore line. Location: south of Caleta de Fuste (c. 1 mile). Some pictures are sharp, other balletic. What a lovely bird. I enjoyed following it along the shore line...

    Curlew Confusion

    Thank you both, I concur, It is a Whimbrel. Great name, and a type of curlew, so I'll make only a modest retreat. :) Will try and edit appropriately.

    Amazingly hard to see these from a distance against the rocks that provide the perfect cover. I am an amateur photographer rather than a birder, so it might not even be a curlew. Location: Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura.

    Cattle Egret chosen “roost site” on Fuerteventura.

    Is this the fella? A very forward bird this one, took this picture yesterday in Caleta de Fuste (southern side)
