Oystercatcher Chick for KC (Haematopus ostralegus)

Replying to a post by Delia, KC said that she couldn't remember ever seeing a shot of an Oystercatcher chick, so here is one from my archives, taken at Minsmere. It is not very good but you can just about see the first signs of redness at the base of its bill. I hope you like it KC.
