Thanks! Sometimes the birds are flying very high, but early in the morning as they leave their roosts and start to lift off, they fly much lower. This shot is still pretty heavily cropped but the birds that flew over later in the morning were too high for my camera!
 
splendid photo of this wonderful hawk, one I had the pleasure to see in New Mexico a number of years ago; top class, many tfs!!
