Never saw one before.....looks like our bandicoot......they dig up everything in our gardens and are not scarred by cats!!! Nice capture TN Tin Man!!!!

Thanks for the comments... They will when cornered either stomp their feet and show the teeth and snarl and make a big deal how ferocious they are. Which is act... or just go limp and play dead and defecate.
Females with babies will be riding on her back in the spring. Eat mostly earth worms & grubs.. or the neighbour dog food. Are common too have rabies.

Good catch, had one here recently eating bird food when we had a slight warm up.
