Hello everyone

I am Jyoti, an avid birder and I will visit Munich for a couple of days. Can anyone suggest the locations in and around the city for solo birding? Also are there any active birding groups in Munich?

Hello and Welcome,

directly inside Munich Schlosspark Nymphenburg should be a good birding start for commoner species.
Depending on your mobility, the Ismaninger Speichersee is closeby to the city. If you can go a little bit further, Ammersee is very nice and if you can go a little bit further south, you could visit Murnauer Moos and the Alps around Westliche Karwendelspitze are good birding spots.
