Wood Blewit (1 Viewer)

Whilst clearing some old Pine trunks, branches & twigs from the Parish Reserve at Kessingland I came across a fine Wood Blewit (Lepista nuda) Mushroom growing from the soil which had a 1" mulch of pine needles around it. There were also some much older specimans that had gone over but this one was in very good condition.

I have taken some leeks from the allotment & will cook this blewit with them. What a pity there were not more.
