I am traveling for business for two weeks and would like to know any good place for birding in Buenos Aires. I will be in Buenos Aires from tomorrow until october 2nd.

Any help would be appreciated.

A very good spot is Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur. It's very easy to visit and basically on the outskirts of the city (litterally within walking distance from downtown BS):

Don't be fooled by the fact you can see Buenos Aires skyline in the background - there's many great species in that reserve.

If you have the time (you can easily spend days in Costanera Sur) another good spot Ribera Norte - easy to visit as well:

Thanks a lot Rasmus, today I visit Costanera Sur and really find alot of new birds to me. Took more than 150 pictures that will filter as soon as I download them to the PC.

I will post some pictures soon.

Once again Rasmus thanks for your help

Hola Alejandro,

If you're still in Buenos Aires, then we could visit the Costanera Sur reserve together.
