I'm going on a class trip to Italy from the 18th of March until the 1st of April, we will be visiting Rome, Assissi, Florence, Ravenna and Venice. The trip is based around Art History, so I won't have much time to go bird watching. What I'm looking for is a bit of information about what birds to expect and look out for or good spots to visit which are nearby. My target species are, most of the interesting warblers, including Sardinian, Blue Rock Thrush, Hoopoe, Wryneck, Alpine Swift and those kind of Mediterranean exotic species.
Thank you for any help.
