Trip around Italy (1 Viewer)

I'm going on a class trip to Italy from the 18th of March until the 1st of April, we will be visiting Rome, Assissi, Florence, Ravenna and Venice. The trip is based around Art History, so I won't have much time to go bird watching. What I'm looking for is a bit of information about what birds to expect and look out for or good spots to visit which are nearby. My target species are, most of the interesting warblers, including Sardinian, Blue Rock Thrush, Hoopoe, Wryneck, Alpine Swift and those kind of Mediterranean exotic species.
Thank you for any help.

Any information would be helpful, whether it's from personal experience, or if you know a website that might help me with my research.

Check ornitho.it, but You need italian or german bird names.
Hoopoe = Wiedehopf
Alpin Swift= Alpensegler
Wryneck=Wendehals
Blue Rock Trush = Blaumerle

If You find entries, contact this persons in english, some will ignore, some will give very good advices.

Good birdings spots in Tuskany are Orbitello Lagoon ( flamingos loons ), Maremma ( terns, White-tailed Eagles, waders ), Diacca Botrone ( waders, ducks, Osprey) and for Pelagic Piombino. Check the high hill there with scope or go with ferry to Elba.
Maybe still chance for Gannets ?

For Alpine Swift check Monte Baldo area at lake Garda.

Do not forget to visit Verona !

It's a school trip, so we have accommodation all sorted already, but I will take your resources into account.
Thank you very much.
