Hello again,

Today I had my regular birding pal with me, so we started off at Toft, hoping he would see some Yellow Wagtails. [Arrived at 13:45 and left at 15:15]. We were not disappointed, this is what we saw:

Yellow Wagtail - 21
Pied Wagtail - 12
Mute Swan - 6
House Martin
Skylark - 2
Meadow Pipit - 1
Grey Heron - 1 [flew over]
Teal - 6
Jackdaw - 50+
Coot
Tufted Duck
Wood Pigeon
Feral Pigeon
Crow
Pheasant
Magpie
Sand Martin - Lots

We had never been to Snitterby Carr.
This is what we saw:

Red-legged Partridge - 2
Greenfinch - 2 [singing]
Mallard
Herring Gull - 1
Wood Pigeon
Crow
Magpie
Pheasant
Lapwing
Starling
Blackbird - 1 [singing]
Chaffinch - 2
House Martin - 6

We arrived at 15:45 and left at 16:30. Although it was quiet today, we will certainly be back.

Regards
