Hi, not sure if the upper one is an Eurasian or Himalayan Griffon. Adult birds of both species were present.

Looks like Himalayan too me. Used to occasionally see these in Kazakhstan. On many trips managed 5 vulture species, but not in the same place.

Thanks! Yes, probably too much white for Eurasian. The other Himalayans present where almost purely white, so I was not sure with this one.

The region is great for vultures indeed. I had 4 species on this spot (not far from Dushanbe), only Egyptian was not there.

The only place I regularly saw Egyptian was around Mashat Canyon in the south.
