Having been given a day off work for Taiwan's National Day I decided to bird the Botanical Gardens and Huajiang. Here's a quick summary, nothing unusual apart from the last one:

Crested Goshawk

Little Egret
Cattle Egret
Gray Heron
Common Moorhen
Japanese White-eye
Eurasian Tree Sparrow
Black Drongo
Brown Shrike
Long-tailed Shrike

and a Superb Starling.....I guess a cage bird/zoo escapee?

Birded Wulai and (Huajiang) Taipei at the weekend....can't complain with 3 lifers.
