Stonechat ID. Suffolk, UK (1 Viewer)

These two photos were taken 21st August 2020 at RSPB Hollesley Marshes, Suffolk five minutes apart but I believe of the same bird. I thought European Stonechat but checked it with the Merlin phone app and both photos are coming up as Siberian Stonechat. I know that apps can't be 100% right all of the time but I also know that a Siberian Stonechat (male 1st winter) was present in this area in December 2019. Can anyone help me make a positive ID from these photos? If it is Siberian what should I be noticing that differentiates it from European?

Thank you both very much for replying, it is appreciated. I will file it under European and put it down to a quirk of the app.
