I am spending New Year again with friends who live in Fishguard. Last year I went to see the starling mumuration at Plumstone Mountain and wondered if any one has seen them there this winter.

Yeh they're still there in great numbers, also keep an eye out for any Birds of Prey - few Hen Harriers (M & F) regularly spotted, along with Peregrines & Buzzards

Hi backus

Thanks for the information. I only got it today on my return from Pembrokeshire.

Anyway I went last night and just as you said there were plenty of Starling coming to roost. My estimate about 2 million. No marsh harrier or peregrines but about 4 buzzards

Regards Charlie
