Sardinia in March (1 Viewer)

I'm going to Cagliari for a few days in the first week of March. I'm planing to visit some places in southern and eastern part of Sardinia. There are only few trip reports for sardinia and none for such early time of year...

What birds could I expect at the begining of March? Some Sardinian specialty's?

hello,

Check out the SYSTEMATIC LIST
http://www.ebnitalia.it/lists/sardegna.htm

in March you can see many species, of course not those who arrive later from Africa (i.e. Eleonora's Falcon).
You can get Purple Swamphen, Flamingos, Spectacled Warbler, also Little Bustard, Marmora's Warbler .... but not easy if you don't know exactly where to look for.
Note.... I know very little of sardinia anyway!
