There is already about 70,000 geese now. Best places are near Przyborow and Slonsk, especially concrete road going north-west of Przyborow. In early spring it is great for waterfowl and white-tailed eagles, later you get eg. breeding Aquatic Warblers, Great Egrets and Whiskered Terns.

Great birding and you see plenty of German birders there!

Hi Jurek,

thank You for Your informations, it seems a great place.
I bin only 3 times in Berlin ( river Havel between Spandau and Heerstraße, big duck assemblies ), once on lake Rietzer See ( e.g. 2 x White-tailed Eagles, Goosanders ), 2 times in Nuthe Nieplitz ( e.g. lot of Gooses and Gulls You see from tower in Blankensee, Waxwings in the tree near Bohlenstieg, different Swans near Stangenhagen, 1 Western Marsh Harrier from tower Pfefferfliess and from other small tower 0,3 Hen Harrier, 5 White Herons, 2 White-tailed Eagles ).

Best regards

Warta river mouth

Hi Jurek,

Saturday I was in the river mouth.
E.g. 11 White-tailed Eagles are there, lots of Geese.
I never saw so much Mallard assemblies.
From Kostrzyn to Slonsk lot of different birds very near to the street.
I defined 44 different birds. It is possible more now, but at view point it was awfully windy at saturday, wet air and only 0,5 centigrad.
In every case I will go again there.
I give short description here:
