Request for help with a weevil id. (1 Viewer)

A Curculio sp. Possibly - going on the antennae - it's C. nucum but any help welcome. Advice from other places seems to be rather split. Newbourne Springs, Suffolk 5/4/24.

Yes that is the other strong contender. I thought the antennae looked more like nucum going on this Acorn Weevil | NatureSpot
but I am not totally confident.

i would not have a clue myself,i just googled when i saw your post

i forgot to say that my "Seek" app identified it as an Acorn Weevil then i googled it

I have been persuaded by others that it is indeed an acorn weevil.
