I recently found this bird in a rural area, with no other birds in the vicinity.
It has large legs with talon like feet, and a large wing span, the beak has a pale tip, any information to help so i know what kind of place to take it! Thanks!

It is a young Woodpigeon - maybe blown out of its flimsy nest by a gust of wind. Likely to be much better back where you found it so that its parents can continue to feed it.

Pretty gruesome looking, huh?

They have been known to nest on the ground in thick vegetation, but I don't think its at all common.

Maybe someone else will give you some advice on what to do next?...
