Went for a walk along the boardwalk up to the Avocet hide armed with a litter picker and large plastic bag and filled it up with bottles, bags and paper.

The petrochemical industry has done a great job of selling the public that single use plastic can be recycled even though they know that 95% ends up in landfills, the ocean, or being incinerated. For my part plastics are very unhealthy and the effects are well known in creating disease in humans.
